"nchor Agency has recently celebrated the 50th Anniversary of our founding in May of 1960. The Agency was established by Lee Aronowitz, Arthur Kapner, Edward Corts and Marvin Freedman. Lee, Art and Ed have passed away in recent years and Marvin remains with the Agency as Chairman.

From the very inception we attempted to build an Insurance Agency dedicated to superior service to our clients and staffed by trained and experienced staff many of whom have been with us more than twenty years. We endeavor to make clients out of customers who depend on us to protect them and their assets with proper coverage at the lowest possible premium.

Our original office was at 75 State Street in downtown Albany but to accommodate our expanding business we moved to Colvin Avenue where we now own and occupy a six thousand square foot building from which our twenty three employees can function with the latest technology in servicing the needs of our clients.

We have a Personal Insurance Department which serves more than two thousand accounts, a Commercial Insurance Department that insures more than eight hundred businesses and a Financial Services Department that handles, Life, Group Health, Retirement Planning and other financial service products. "
