BB&H was founded by Susan Brooks and Deborah Babineau in 1997. Our Mission Statement calls for all staff to have continuous client involvement, including the Key Personnel. Unlike many other brokerages, our management team actively participates in your account.

Susan H. Brooks

President and Founder

Susan Brooks has worked in the employee benefits insurance industry for over 30 years. Susan manages the firm as well as serving as an employee benefits consultant. Her primary clientele are mid size employers working in the manufacturing, entertainment and service industries. She excels at helping clients define their objectives and goals. Susan uses her extensive knowledge and experience to underwrite plans, interpret contracts, and find alternative funding mechanisms for employee health plans. Her strong industry relationships make Susan extremely effective at negotiating renewals and obtaining reasonable pricing. Susan worked with two of the nation's largest brokerage firms, Johnson & Higgins, and Alexander & Alexander, as well as a major insurer, Great West Life, before opening BB&H. Her strong leadership inspires teamwork among her associates and earns her respect from satisfied customers.
