In 1967, an independent, forward-thinking real-estate company was formed in the South Side Chicago neighborhood of Hyde Park. The principals of the company were Vernon Monigal, Edward Ryan, and Winston Kennedy. This is the oldest real-estate company continuously active in the area, and has witnessed astounding growth in the market value and desirability of South Side residential properties. Often, the company has helped to shape and channel that growth.
In 1981, to better serve its clients, the firm affiliated with the CENTURY 21 network. All CENTURY 21 offices are independently owned and operated, but benefit from the worldwide network of CENTURY 21 promotion, referrals, and name recognition. And CENTURY 21 Kennedy, Ryan, Monigal and Assoc., Inc.'s clients, of course, profit from that national recognition.
Jeanne Spurlock, now Owner/Broker of the company, joined the firm in 1981 and soon became, consistently, the company's top producer. She purchased the company in 1997. Although retaining the original company name, she is the sole owner and the managing broker.
The company is staffed by 24 licensed broker associates, each with particular knowledge and skills relating to real estate. Some of the agents have 30 years or more of experience, and others are just starting in the field. In total, these agents have compiled hundreds of years of real-estate experience and are committed to the outstanding customer service for which the company is known.
Although headquartered in Hyde Park, the company is vibrantly active in sales throughout the South Side, south suburbs, and areas beyond.
