Dr. Yanina Figueroa, DMD

Dr. Yanina Figueroa, DMD, is a talented and dedicated endodontist who thrives on the challenges presented by her specialty. When asked why she chose endodontics, she enthusiastically replies, "I love the challenge-every person and tooth is different. There is never a dull moment, just a dull bur!"

Originally from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, Dr. Figueroa attended Blanca Malaret, her town's public high school. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez Campus before pursuing her DMD at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. Building on her foundation, she completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the same institution, where she had the opportunity to work with diverse patients with complex health conditions in a hospital setting. As a faculty member of the General Practice Residency, Dr. Figueroa contributed her expertise to the Diabetes Clinic and University District Hospital. Concurrently, she pursued a Master's in Public Health from the University of Puerto Rico, specializing in the field of Public Health.
