We are also dedicated to serving our community through civic participation and investment in the people and economy of the Unifour region. Daniel R. Fulkerson is a native of Boone, North Carolina. He graduated from Watauga High School in 1993. Mr. Fulkerson received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997. In 2001, Mr. Fulkerson graduated with Honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
After graduation, Mr. Fulkerson worked for the Law Firm of Dow, Lohnes & Albertson, PLLC in Washington, D.C., where he was an Associate in the Litigation Department. Once he decided to return to Western North Carolina, Mr. Fulkerson worked for the Clement Law Group in Boone, North Carolina for the year of 2002.
After moving to Hickory in 2003, Mr. Fulkerson accepted a position as an Assistant District Attorney in Catawba County, where he prosecuted cases in Catawba County District Court. After prosecuting thousands of cases, Mr. Fulkerson developed the desire and skills necessary to defend the rights of those charged with criminal offenses.
