About Henry Dodge | The LA Realtor
I am a Los Angeles realtor specializing in buyers, sellers, lofts, condominiums, luxury homes and investment properties.
When you are ready to buy or sell, I am here for you not only as a realtor but as counselor, negotiator and guide to help you through the process. Most importantly, I'll be an advocate for your individual needs from answering your questions along the way to smoothly closing the deal.
I'm passionate about real estate and love working with people who are either motivated to find the perfect home and/or are ready to sell their homes. It's that simple.
I understand that the process can be emotional and stressful, and I do my best to minimize both by truly connecting with what my clients wants and needs are from the start. Once those needs are established, I am able to devise a specific plan to achieve the client's goals.
My unique educational and professional background provided the perfect skill set that led to my career in residential real estate in Southern California. Having both an advertising and law background allowed me to become an experienced marketer AND contract negotiator.
A native of Mississippi, I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1992, and worked in advertising and public relations for two prestigious firms in the Southeast after college. While in the ad business, I managed national and international accounts such as Anheuser Busch, Embraer Aircraft, American Eurocopter, Wolfgang Puck, Morton's, International Paper and The National Civil Rights Museum. I thrived on the excitement of strategically and creatively meeting clients' needs while working under stringent deadlines.
After four years in advertising, I returned to Mississippi to attend law school and received my Juris Doctorate in 1998 from Mississippi College School of Law. After law school, I worked in my family's energy business and was responsible for opening new retail locations and developing advertising and marketing initiatives where I gained valuable operations knowledge. After many years, I decided I wanted a more entrepreneurial lifestyle and longed to head west to California for new opportunities. In 2003, I relocated to Santa Monica which truly feels like "home." Having a life-long interest in architecture and real estate, I obtained my California real estate license and joined Keller Williams in Beverly Hills in early 2004. I served on the Agent Leadership Conference of the Beverly Hills office from 2007 - 2009.
I'm an avid snow skier, tennis player, photographer and music lover. It's important to me to give back to the community and I also enjoy volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club of Hollywood.
