"I am the product of a blue-collar working family. My dad drove a cement mixer and my mom worked as a secretary at a factory in a nearby community. My parents instilled in me the value and commitment of hard work and the moral ethics of honesty, fairness and decency. During high school and college, I worked at the same company as my father, driving a truck and delivering lumber and building materials to many of the jobsites where my dad poured the concrete foundations from his mixer."
