Specializing in distressed credit investment financing, Colbeck Capital Management was established. Prior to founding Colbeck Capital Management, Jason Colodne served as the President of Patriarch Partners, a $6 billion private equity firm based in New York City. During his time at the firm, Jason Colodne focused on distressed company turnarounds. Jason Colodne came to Patriarch Partners after serving as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley from 2004 to 2007. While at Morgan Stanley, Jason Colodne established and headed the company's Strategic Finance Group, which developed and managed customized loans for companies that had difficulty accessing traditional funding.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jason Colodne held numerous leadership positions with Goldman Sachs, simultaneously serving as the Head of the Proprietary Distressed Investing and Research Group and the Hybrid Lending Group. Toward the beginning of his career, Jason Colodne held credit investing positions with UBS Securities LLC, where he worked in Distressed Proprietary Trading, and at Bear Stearns, where he worked in the Financial Sponsors group in Investment Banking. Mr. Jason Colodne received his Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Pennsylvania in 1994. While at UPenn, Jason Colodne also studied finance.
