Prior to opening her law office, Attorney Vicks worked seven years as the senior Social Security Attorney for Kent and Sussex County for Doroshow Pasquale Krawitz & Bhaya. Karen Y. Vicks earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University's James Beasley School of Law. Prior to earning her law degree, Karen Y. Vicks attended Howard University graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Karen Y. Vicks is licensed to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Affiliations

Attorney Vicks is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives (NOSSCR). She has lectured for the Organization on Social Security Disability Law at national conferences. She is also a member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates (NOVA), the Delaware Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Attorney Vicks is also a volunteer Attorney Guardian Ad Litem for the Office of the Child Advocate.
