In 1940 Portage Realty Corporation grew out of a lumber yard operation and is now involved in land development and the sale of affordable, quality built new homes. The company is now marketing new homes in its subdivision at Georgetown North, Tawny Lake, and Reverewood, as well as on land owned by our customers.
In addition, Portage's experienced sales staff has an enviable record of success in the sale of pre-owned homes in the Michiana area. As the public's desire to "know more" about the home they are considering has increased, so has their tendency to hire salespeople with a background in residential construction. Who knows more about the pre-owned home "For Sale" than the people who built it!
The Management Division is responsible for the operations and rental of the Creekside Apartments in Mishawaka, Village Terre Apartments and the Georgetown Shopping Center in South Bend and other area properties on a contract basis.
