Dick's hometown is Crookston, Minnesota. He lived in Denver and Fargo before moving to Sioux Falls in 1976. In 1981, Dick started the company as a one-man office. Today, the insurance agency has two Sioux Falls locations and employs eight people. In 1991, he was designated as a Certifed Insurance Counselor and is currently a member of the National Alliance For Insurance Education and Research.
