Realtec Commercial
Like many successful companies, Realtec began as a search for something better. To assemble a strong nucleus of highly-educated, experienced commercial specialists who could serve the entire Northern Colorado market, was a vision of the founder, Steve Stansfield. This vision was shared by other experienced brokers who would later join the company.
In an effort to adequately serve Colorado's Front Range, Realtec has four offices comprised of twenty-one brokers and an administrative, marketing and support staff. Realtec was originated in 1983 as a real estate development company, and in 1989, transitioned from development activities to a full-service commercial real estate brokerage company. Joining Steve Stansfield in the Horsetooth Office are eight brokers, with Michael Ehler acting as Managing Broker. To gain a regional presence, Realtec opened its first satellite office in 1994, in Loveland. The Loveland office, managed by Larry Melton, consists of three brokers.
In 1995, Realtec capitalized on a rapidly emerging market in Greeley and welcomed the addition of the Realtec Greeley office. Managed by broker Mark Bradley, the Realtec Greeley team is comprised of six brokers. Recognizing the vitality and growth opportunities in downtown Fort Collins, Realtec opened its second location in the summer of 2007. Located in Old Town Fort Collins, the Realtec Downtown office consists of four brokers and is managed by Jim Mokler.
With this team of seasoned professionals, Realtec has maintained its position as the dominant force in the Northern Colorado marketplace. Since its inception, Realtec enlists only the best and brightest of commercial real estate practitioners. Attesting to the emphasis placed upon achieving the highest standards of professional education, Realtec currently has six Society of Industrial and Office Realtor (SIOR) designees and eight Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designees.
