Skogman Realty was founded in 1973 by Rick Skogman and since then has grown to become one of the largest locally owned real estate company in eastern Iowa. Rick retired in 2008 passing the reins over to his son, Chris, who is currently the President.
Skogman Realty is a division of Skogman Homes, which is justifiably proud of its heritage of "Five Generations of Home Building Pride". Skogman Homes is considered to be one of the finest home building organizations in the Midwest. The company has an architect, land surveyors, development experts and a certified public accountant. The commercial group publishes the area's premier commercial newsletter, "In-Sites".
