My name is Tony Breeden, and I am the agency owner of the Solid Rock Insurance Agency. We are an independent insurance brokerage.

What is a broker or a brokerage? Well, we represent a lot of insurance companies. We can shop around with those companies to find you the most competitive rates. What makes us different from the "big" insurance companies? I have a one word answer for you, "CHOICE." The big insurance companies have "captive agents," which means that those agents can only sell insurance for that one company. If their product isn't competitive, there is not anything that they can do! By representing numerous companies, I can present numerous quotes. Some quotes will be great, some may be outrageous, but you will have the ability to CHOOSE which company you want to work with.

I feel that shopping for insurance is similar to shopping for shoes. Some feet are big, some are small, some have high arches, while some feet are really wide. Most people would laugh if I said, "I have a perfect, one-size-fits-all shoe that will work for you." Well, those big insurance companies think that they have a "one-size-fits-all policy."

Insurance is risk management, and every insurance company rates risk differently! Some companies feel more comfortable insuring a driver that had a DUI two years ago than some other companies do. Some companies feel more comfortable insuring a 16 year old driver who got his license 2 months ago. There is no universal formula for rating risk, or else every company would charge the same amount for every situation.
