Steve Roberts brings over 30 years of commercial real estate experience to the Steve Roberts Realty brokerage firm. Specializing in development of investment real estate, Steve began his career in Dallas/Fort Worth area after graduating from Southern Methodist University. After associating with a commercial appraisal firm where he received a sold background in market and investment analysis, Steve affiliated in the 1970’s with the development division of a South Texas financial institution and was directly responsible for the construction of multi-family projects, mobile home parks and residential subdivisions. In the 1980’s he was recruited by Texas Commerce Bank to implement a commercial real estate lending department for their Corpus Christi branch banking locations. In 1985 Steve was promoted to President, CEO and Director of the Texas Commerce Bank-Gulfway. In 1990, after a decade in the banking industry, Steve opened Steve Roberts Realty Associates in Corpus Christi specializing in brokerage, leasing and investment real estate.
As an individual investor/broker, Steve’s personal investments include build-to-suit convenience stores, free-standing retail outlets, residential townhome development and condominium re-development, quick service restaurant facilities and waterfront subdivision. After selling the brokerage interest in Steve Roberts Realty Associates, Steve remains of consul as well as a practicing Realtor and developer in the South Texas area through Steve Roberts Realty.
