Tae Kwon, DDS, MMSc
Dr. Tae Kwon has always been interested in science and dentistry. During dental school, he got captivated by the important link between overall health and gum disease, therefore he sought a specialty in Periodontology.
Dr. Tae Kwon earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario in Canada, where he graduated with honors. He subsequently opted to pursue a career in dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. During his dentistry training in Toronto, he obtained several scholarships and honors for clinical and academic distinction.
He went on to get his specialist training in Periodontology and his Master of Medical Sciences from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he received the Hanley D. Epstein Award for clinical and academic distinction.
His knowledge of complicated dental disorders and treatment alternatives allows him to provide you with as many options as possible, all with the goal of providing you with outstanding outcomes for a wide spectrum of periodontal, implant, and restorative dentistry care. Dr. Kwon treats his patients by preventing and treating gum disease, placing dental implants to replace lost teeth, and performing extractions. He wants to be known as "the finest in town for painless Novocain."
Dr. Kwon really appreciates critically examining new results and implementing them into everyday clinical practice to serve his patients better in order to stay up with the ongoing evolution of new scientific and translational research, including minimally invasive treatment techniques.
