Attorney Lynn Murphy has been practicing law for 12 years and works exclusively in the area of family law. She has assembled a reliable and professional team of attorneys, legal assistants, and office staff. Our team approach to helping you with your case allows us to provide each client with a high level of personal service. You can be assured that your phone calls and emails will be answered by a trained member of our staff. Our team consists of Attorney Lynn Murphy, Attorney Jennifer Selan, Legal Assistants Rose Donatelli and Angela Burgess, and Office Manager Dawne Taylor. Together, we are able to help clients through sensitive life transitions. The Murphy Law Firm also provides mediation services, handles collaborative law cases, and both attorneys serve as Guardians ad Litem protecting the interests of the minor children in contested cases.
Ms. Murphy graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Richmond, Virginia in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Ms. Murphy has been practicing law for the past twelve years having graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1999.
Prior to opening Murphy Law Firm, LLC in 2002, Ms. Murphy practiced law for three years at the law firm of Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough. Since 2002, Ms. Murphy has been practicing almost exclusively in the area of family law.
