Our company was founded in 1952 by Carl L. Beard. Paul Tucker joined in 1958 and formed Beard & Tucker. Mr. Beard passed away in 1959 and Paul Tucker's son, Romney Tucker, joined in 1967. The company was renamed Tucker and Tucker Realty in 1975.

About Romney Tucker:
Romney, a life long resident of Macon, attended public schools and is a graduate of Mercer University as well as Walter F. George School of Law. Romney and his wife Marilyn have 2 children, Jamie who lives in Washington DC and Doug who lives in Brunswick, GA. They are also proud grandparents of 3 grandchildren. Romney is a member of First Baptist Church and the Macon Downtown Lions Club.
Along Romney's real estate career, he has served multiple times as President of Mid GA MLS, the Vice President of the Board of Realtors and various other offices at the organizations. Romney is the recipient of the Eagle Award from The Middle GA Association of Realtors and various certificates of state and national real estate courses.
