About us

The McGraw Company was originally founded by a man named C.T. McGraw in the 1940s as a mill supply house located on Milwaukee Avenue in Detroit, MI. Years later, Ed Bush purchased the company, then known as Wm. F. McGraw Supply, and transitioned it into a fabrication shop during the 1960s. In 1980, the business changed hands again when Frank Marchetti became the new owner.

In 2000, Keith Tidd bought Wm. F. McGraw from Frank and moved the operation to Riverview, MI. A Toledo, Ohio native, Keith ran the company for over 20 years and grew it steadily through word of mouth and the relationships he built with customers over time.

In March 2024, Keith retired and sold the business to me. I had worked alongside him for more than six years, helping run day-to-day operations, before being allowed to take over.

Today, our success continues to be driven by the loyalty and support of our customers. We've built long-lasting relationships, and thanks to that, the business has continued to grow year after year. That's why we've proudly been in operation for over 40 years.

We've always been a family-run business, and we always will be.
