One-on-one guidance through the home buying and selling process
I'm Zane Gerringer, and I reside in Gibsonville, NC (born & raised) with my family Fernanda, Madeleine and pound-puppy, Blu. I enjoy writing music, mountain biking and working around the house. I provide real estate brokerage services to the Triad as well as Alamance County, and I strive to help my clients make smart real estate decisions. I initially became interested in real estate for investment purposes but soon realized I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others - especially first time home buyers & sellers. I saw a lot of common place practices in working with buyers and sellers that could use improvement or were unnecessary and pride myself on brutal honesty with my clients. My former career providing medical records to law firms across the Carolinas taught me a strict discipline for customer service, which I believe shows in my client testimonials.
To me, full-service brokerage doesn't mean doing the same old thing. I think that a lot of real estate practices are antiquated, and my philosophy of selling is to trim the fat by cutting out all of the things that agents have been doing for years out of habit that don't really help to sell your home in today's market.
Why
A real estate transaction is complicated. Selling a home requires disclosure forms, inspection reports, mortgage documents, insurance policies, deeds, and multi-page government-mandated settlement statements. I can manage the documentation and eliminate confusion and duplication of effort.

Compensation
Real estate commissions are not set in stone and are always negotiable. By working with Allen Tate and Zane Gerringer to market your property, we can ensure you have maximum exposure and get the results you want. Yes, we charge 6% for resale of residential single family homes but you get what you pay for - and remember real estate professionals do not receive compensation until you close on your property. 3% is offered as buyer agent compensation.
In the Market to Buy a Home?
Having a buyer's agent might be one of the smartest steps you take in the process. Form showing you properties to negotiating contracts, pitfalls, and repairs - get represented early on to get the most out of your Realtor.
Why Go It Alone?
Most listed properties have listing agreements that stipulate that the seller will pay your agent to represent you! They often also stipulate that if you are unrepresented, the listing agent will get paid the other 'side' of the commission for assisting you with the purchase. Why not let an agent represent you?
